This option provides information about the occurrence of drive’s media error. If a disk drive
has encountered media errors, users may enable drive S.M.A.R.T. function to detect drive fail-
ure status. If messages show media error come frequent, the target disk drive might have
reached its life expectancy, and should be replaced immediately.
