From the Main Menu, use the up or
down arrow keys to select "View and
Edit Logical Drives".
The first logical drive displays. If you
have more than one logical drive, use the
up or down keys to select the logical
drive you want to change the write
policy of; and then press ENT.
Use arrow keys to select "Write Policy"
and then press ENT.
The Write-Back cache setting is
configurable on a per array basis. Setting
to the default value means the array setting is coordinated with the
controller’s general setting. The controller’s general setting option
can be found in “View and Edit Config Parms” -> “Caching
Parameters” -> “Write-Back Cache”. Note that cached writes are
lost if a power failure occurs unless cached data has been duplicated
to a partner controller and a battery is supporting cache memory.
