Follow these steps to enable static IP address allocation.

Static IP address allocation in Windows 98/98SE/ME/2000:

1. Click Start.

2. Select Settings.

3. Click Control Panel.

4. Double-click Network.

5. The Network screen displays.

Configuration tab, select the

TCP/IP component

corresponding to your Ethernet

adapter.

2. Click Properties.
