Configuring Dynamic IP Address Allocation

Follow these steps to configure your PC for dynamic IP address

allocation.

Dynamic IP address allocation in Windows 98/98SE/ME/2000:

1. Click Start.

2. Select Settings.

3. Click Control Panel.

4. Double-click the Networ

icon.

5. The Network configuration

screen displays.

1. In the network window’s

Configuration tab, select the

TCP/IP component

corresponding to your Ethernet

adapter.

2. Click Properties.
