Difference Between other client modes and Transparent Client Mode
Other client modes
Transparent Client Mode
Connectivity with any standard
APs.
Connectivity with RootAP-supported
APs.
All devices connected to the
Ethernet ports use a common
MAC address for communications
with the AP.
Devices connected to the Ethernet
ports flow through freely and
transparently without the MAC
address restriction.
The Transparent Client Mode is more transparent, making it more
suitable for linking 2 networks together in a point-to-point, or point-to-
multipoint network connection.
