When the Microsoft Windows restarts, Compex NetPassage 16A will assign

an IP address, Subnet Mask and Gateway information to the computer.

For Microsoft Windows 2000/XP:

1) Right click on the network icon on the task bar and click on status. Click on Properties

as in Figure 2.5c.

2) Highlight TCP/IP and click on Properties as in Figure 2.5d. Click on Obtain an IP

Address Automatically and click on OK as in Figure 2.5e.
