3. If you have not already done so, remove the covers, as described in “Removing the
Covers” on page 301.
4. Remove the disk drives from the disk drive cage. Refer to “Removing Hot-Plug
SCSI Disk Drives” on page 309.
5. Remove a power supply to get access to the backside of the SCSI or SSA
backplanes to remove signal and power cables. Refer to “Power Supplies” on
page 328.
6. Disconnect the power cables from the top rear of the backplane. Then disconnect
the signal cables from the backplane.
