Configuring Dynamic IP address allocation
Microsoft Windows 98/98SE/ME/2000
Follow these steps to configure your PC for dynamic IP address
allocation.
Dynamic IP address allocation in Windows 98/98SE/ME/2000:
1. Click on Start.
2. Select Settings.
3. Click on Control Panel.
4. Double-click on the Networ
k
icon.
5. The Network configuration
screen will appear as
illustrated on the right.
1. In the Network window’s
Configuration tab, select the
TCP/IP component
corresponding to your Ethernet
adapter.
2. Click on the Properties button.
This will bring you to the screen
shown on the left.
