COMPLIANCE INFORMATION
FCC NOTICE
This device has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant
to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against
harmful interference in a residential installation. This device generates uses and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause
harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will
not occur in a particular installation. If this device does cause harmful interference to radio or
television reception, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the
following measures:
• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Connect the computer to an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
• Increase the separation between the computer and receiver.
• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
Caution: Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the grantee of this device could
void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
FCC Compliance Statement:
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
This device may not cause harmful interference, and
This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired
operation.
This device is approved for OEM installation with specified antennas as listed in this Manual. It is the
responsibility of the Installer to comply with the separation distance for satisfying RF exposure
compliance. Integrating this module does not mean that the host device is compliant: The integrator
is fully responsible for any additional compliance testing of the complete host device, and shall be
tested for line conducted emissions and radiated spurious emissions, whereas additional equipment
authorization procedures may be necessary. In case other antennas construction types or antennas
with higher gains than listed are used, FCC class 2 change testing/certification on this module will be
necessary.
This device only could work when being installed into “client devices” which could not transmit
automatically, such as Notebook P.C. , with the software driver limit.
Exposure to Radio Frequency Radiation. This equipment must be installed and operated in
accordance with provided instructions and the antenna(s) used for this transmitter must be installed
to provide a separation distance of at least 20 cm from all persons and must not be collocated or
operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. End-users and installers must be
provided with antenna installation instructions and transmitter operating conditions for satisfying RF
exposure compliance.
IMPORTANT NOTE: In the event that these conditions can not be met (for example certain laptop
configurations or co-location with another transmitter), then the FCC authorization is no longer
considered valid and the FCC ID can not be used on the final product. In these circumstances,
the OEM integrator will be responsible for re-evaluating the end product (including the transmitter)
and obtaining a separate FCC authorization.
WARNING: This Wireless Mini PCI Adapter does not support ad-hoc mode Function
The end device integrating this module must be labeled:
Contains transmitter module FCC ID: TK4WLE350N5-25H
RF Exposure warning
The equipment must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or
transmitter.
The users manual or instruction manual for an intentional or unintentional radiator shall caution
the user that changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for
compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment. In cases where the
manual is provided only in a form other than paper, such as on a computer disk or over the
Internet, the information required by this section may be included in the manual in that
alternative form, provided the user can reasonably be expected to have the capability to access
information in that form.
