3.2 Type the new AppleTalk name in the Printer Name field and click on OK. The
new name does not take effect until the 3000E is reset.
4. Set the 3000E IP Address.
4.1 Open the LAN Printer Server menu and select Protocol Setup to display the
following screen:
4.2 Enter the appropriate on/off settings for NetWare and TCP/IP. LAT for DEC
systems is not functional for the EcoLAN 3000E.
4.3 For TCP/IP, set the IP Address, the Subnet Mask and the Default Gateway and
click on OK.
5. Reset the 3000E. The settings for Printer Name and IP Address do not take effect
until the 3000E is Reset. To Reset the 3000E turn the printer off and on or use the
following steps in KyoManage.
5.1 Open the LAN Printer Server menu and select Reset and click on the Reset
button.
5.2 KyoManage will give a message that communication with the 3000E has
failed (because it loses communication while the 3000E is resetting). Wait a
minute and then select File and Select Unit and reselect the 3000E to verify
the new settings.
