3. Enter the IP parameters.
Enter the IP address to assign to the 3000E
Enter the Subnet mask. If unsure of the correct Subnet mask and the first
number in the 3000E IP address is from 192 to 254, then use 255.255.255.0 as
the Subnet mask.
Enter the Default Gateway address (the routers IP address) or leave blank.
Enter the Hardware Address of the 3000E. This address is listed on the
EcoLAN 3000E Network Status Page under 3000E ID Information, Hardware
Address. For example, 00:40:af:13:c9:f0. Please enter it as it appears on the
status page.
4. Click on Go to send the new settings to the 3000E. Wait 1 or 2 minutes and then
press the Status key to print an EcoLAN 3000E Network Status page.The new IP
parameters will be listed in the TCP/IP Network Information section on the status
page. If the status page doesn’t print, recheck the Hardware Address entry in
Bootp Lite.
5. The new IP address may also be verified by pinging the 3000E. From an MS/DOS
prompt enter: ping [IP address of EcoLAN 3000E], for example:
ping 197.32.154.12
If there is no response to the ping, verify the IP address on the EcoLAN 3000E
Network Status Page.
