F-TEL Fiber Optic Phone Adapter
TF-TEL is a Fiber Optic Telephone Adapter providing direct, secure fiber
optic connection between any telephone set and a PABX or between two
telephone sets. F-TEL converts the electrical signals into optical signals.
Two in-line units are required to complete a fiber link: a PABX unit (F-
TEL/CO) for the PBX side and a Subscriber unit (F-TEL/SUB) for the
subscriber telephone set. Extended operating range of up to 80.5 km / 50
miles with a laser diode is available. Options available for Single and
Multi-Mode Fiber Cable. Supports both DTMF and pulse dialing

Optimux-4T1/4E1 and XLT1/E1 Fiber Multiplexers
The Optimux-4T1/4E1 is a multiplexer combining up to four T1/E1
channels over a single fiber optic link. The new Optimux XLT1/E1 provides
Ethernet and up to 12 T1 or E1 channels with its modular (4) port chassis.
A pair of Optimux-4T1 units offer simple and low-cost connectivity for four
T1/E1 channels at distances up to 75 km.
Various optical interfaces are
available:
850 nm for multimode fiber
1300 nm for single mode fiber
1300 nm LASER and 1550 nm
LASER for extended range over
single mode fiber
An optional second link provides backup using automatic switch-over
upon link failure. An optional second power supply provides power
redundancy and fail-safe operation. The Optimux-4T1/E1 transmits each
of the T1/E1 channels independently, so that each T1/E1 channel can
have a different clock.
Optimux-XL
FDSL-101 Fiber Optic xDSL Extender
The FDSL-101 is an optical multiplexer grooming up to six DSL ports or
five DSL ports and one E1/T1 port over a fiber optic cable, extending the
reach up to 20 km (12.5 miles). The FDSL-101 is an optimal solution for
grooming and extending the reach of routers, cross connects, PBXs and
other devices equipped with SHDSL, ADSL, MSDSL or 2W-HDSL ports.
Depending on the technology, typical DSL service extends up to 6 km
(3.75 miles). As a result, there are potential customers beyond the reach
of DSLAMs located in central offices. The FDSL-101 extends the DSLAM
service while enabling the carrier to utilize existing DSLAM ports at its
central site.
Two units are required, one on each side of the fiber optic line. Due to the
transparency of the technology, service providers can migrate between
different DSL technologies without changing FDSL-101 units in the CO
and at the remote location. This simplifies the network, resulting in lower
operating costs and higher service availability.
