Total Access 1200 Mini DSLAMs
Carriers are seeking DSL solutions that deliver broadband simply
and reliably to their valued customers. In order to make DSL
delivery a business success, carriers need solutions that control
costs, simplify management, and provide advantageous support
systems. The ADTRAN Total Access® 1200 Series of Mini-
DSLAMs were designed with service providers in mind. From
anticipated take rates and low start-up costs to scalability for future
applications, the Total Access 1200 Series offers the advantages
carriers need to make DSL affordable and maintainable. The Total
Access 1200 Series of Mini-DSLAMs are temperature-hardened,
1U high mini-DSLAMs that enable delivery of 24 ports of POTS,
ADSL, and IP Ethernet service from smaller Central Offices (COs),
Controlled Environmental Vaults (CEVs), and Remote Ter minals
(RTs). Design flexibility enables the Total Access 1200 Series to be
mounted as rack, wall, or vertical positioned units inside existing
enclosures. The units measure 1.75 in. H x 17.25 in. W x 11.13 in.
D and offer redundant power using –42 to –56 VDC.
Total Access 1124 OSP DSLAM
ADTRAN’s Total Access 1124 OSP DSLAM is a 24-port DSLAM
that answers service provider’s need for universal access.
Through line or local powering, it delivers DSL to any location with
the reliability expected of an ADTRAN product. The Total Access
1124 OSP DSLAM is an economical solution for extending DSL
access to every subscriber.
These line-powered OSP DSLAMs can bemounted in any outdoor
environment including pedestals, poles, cross-boxes, remote
terminals, and other challenging locations. Additionally, it can be
used as a customer premises device for rapid deployment in
response to customer demand or ompetitive pressures. POTS
service is not power dependent.

Total Access 3000 Multiservice Access Platform
The ADTRAN TM Total Access® 3000/3010 is an open architec-
ture, Carrier-class multiservice access platform for deploying
broadband and xDSL services from TDM or ATM backbone
infrastructures. Its compact size (23 in./19 in. x 6 in.) (58.42
cm/48.26 cm x 15.24 cm) allows installation in places where space
is limited, such as crowded COs, RT cabinets, co-location (COLO)
sites, and customer premises equip-ment rooms. The Total Access
platform provides a variety of loop and network interface modules.
Many interfaces support Automatic Protection Switching (APS).
For today’s TDM networks, the Total Access supports DSX-1, DS3, STS-1, and OC-3 network interfaces with companion loop
interfaces such as HDSL, HDSL2, HDSL4, T1, ISDN, and fiber. ATM network interface modules support G.shdsl, ADSL, IDSL,
Frame Relay, and DSX-1 loop interfaces. Total Access 3000/3010 can be integrated with ADTRAN’s Total Access 1500/850/750
platforms to provide narrow-band services such as POTS, ISDN, and DDS.
An available Octal ADSL module with Splitters (p/n 4181405L2) is comprised of the ADSL Data Module (p/n 1181405L2) and the
POTS Carriage Module (p/n 1181405L20). It provides eight ADSL + POTS interfaces in a dual slot access module for the Total
Access 3000 and Total Access 3010. The eight ADSL loops are configurable individually on a loop-by-loop basis using Total
Access 3000/3010 standard menus. This unit supports T1.413, G.dmt and G.Lite standards. It supports upstream rates from 32
to 896 kbps and downstream rates from 32 to 8160 kbps increments, in either Fast (default) or Interleaved mode.
