Loopback Data Test
This option allows you to perform loopback tests. You can select one of the
following loopback tests:
 External loopback data test
 Internal loopback data test
Select Adapter
If you have a multi-port or multiple 2600 Series Adapters in your system, use this
option to select and then configure or view the settings of a specific 2600 Series
Adapter or one of its ports.
Personality
This option changes the interface type (personality) between Fibre Channel
Adapter and Converged Network Adapter. See the Glossary for a definition of
personality.
Exit Fast!UTIL
This option allows you to exit the utility and reboot the system. After making
changes to the 2600 Series Adapter in Fast!UTIL, make sure you save the
changes before you reboot the system.
Using FCode for Custom Configuration (Oracle SPARC)
For additional information, see the FCode for ORACLE_SPARC FC and FCoE
Adapters Readme file.
You can use FCode for selecting the 2600 Series Adapter device, setting and
viewing NVRAM parameters, and running diagnostic commands.
NOTE
When running an external loopback data test, make sure that the Fibre
Channel link is up or a loopback plug is attached to the 2600 Series Adapter
before starting the test.

Dual personality will be enabled with a firmware upgrade. Please check with
QLogic.
NOTE
You must reboot for the new personality to take effect. If you change the
personality of your adapter, you must also change the optical modules.
