14. Select Save changes to NVRAM.
Identify the EFI path of the physical hardware path on systems that have Secure Path installed.
Determining th
e active or standby path’s hardware path
To determine th
e hardware path of a standby path by using the spmgr display and ioscan
commands, see “Installing Secure Path on a SAN boot d evice” in the HP StorageWorks Secure Path 3.0F
Service Pack 3 for H P-UX 11i v1.0 a nd 11i v2.0 installation and reference g uide.
To determine the ha rdware path of a standby path:
1. Enter the spmgr display -dv boot device command on the host. In this example, the
boot device is
/dev/dsk/c12t1d2.
spmgr display -dv c12t1d2
The following output is displayed:

ws four operation paths: one is in Active path state, one is in Available path state,
and two are in Standby path state. Select one of the path instances to determine the hardware
path (for example, c6t1d3). Note the values c(6), t(1),andd(3) in the instance.
2. Enter the ios

3. Append the t and d values fr om (step 1t(1), d(3)) to the hardware path determined in step 2
to determine
the hardware path of the standby path. In this example, the h a rdware path for
