7. If C is the drive to which the file is saved, at the DOS prompt enter:
C:\UPDATE.EXE filename port number
then press the Enter key.
If data was entered correctly, a message appears on the computer notifying the
user that the update is in process.
8. When the firmware is updated, a message displays:
100% Complete. Download completed successfully. Thank you
for using COMPAQ products.
The switch automatically reboots after the update is completed.
NOTE: If the update was unsuccessful (because of a power outage, for example), repeat
the process.
