Defining the paths
Use Remote Web Console (shown), Command View, o r Command View XP AE to define paths (LUN s)
between hosts a nd volumes in the disk array.
This pr ocess
is also called “LUN mapping.” In Remote Web Console and Command View, LUN mapping
includes:
• Configuring ports
• Enabling LU
Nsecurityontheports
• Creating host groups
• Assigning host bus adapter WWNs to host groups
• Mapping vo
lumestohostgroups(byassigningLUNs)

LUN mapping.
In Command View XP AE, LUN mapping includes:
• Configuring ports
• Creating storage groups
• Mapping volumes and WWN/host access per missions to the storage groups
