Array Conﬁguration Utility (ACU) overview

The Array Conﬁguration Utility (ACU) is a browser-based tool used to conﬁgure an array controller and

its storage. The ACU

• Runs online in Windows and Linux environments.

• Provides a graphical view of HP drive array conﬁgurations.

• Includes easy-to-use conﬁguration Wizards.

• Provides

different operating modes, enabling faster conﬁguration or greater control over the

conﬁgura

tion options.

• Suggests the optimum conﬁguration for unconﬁgured systems.

• Displays on-screen tips for individual steps of a conﬁguration procedure.

• Allows t

hesettingofaccessprivilegestospeciﬁc storage LUNs to be limited to speciﬁchosts.

• Supports online array capacity expansion, logical drive extension, assignment of online spares, and

RAID or stripe size migration
