Installing Extended Runtime Modules
(ERMs)
WARNING: To reduce risk of personal injury from electric shock or damage to
equipment, the Extended Runtime Modules (ERMs) must be installed by a
Trained Service Technician.
The Compaq R6000 UPS provides the ability to add up to 2 ERMs, increasing
the available runtime. The Compaq R6000 UPS provides greater than 8
minutes of runtime at the recommended 80% load, and one ERM will extend
that runtime to greater than 18 minutes. A second ERM can provide runtimes
up to 30 minutes at recommended loads.
IMPORTANT: Extended Runtime Modules must be installed by a Trained Service
Technician using the Extended Runtime Module Installation Card.
