Memory Combinations
The following guidelines MUST be followed when installing or replacing memory:
■ Use only 64-, 128-, 256-, or 512-MB ECC SDRAM DIMMs.
■ SDRAM DIMMs must be PC 133-MHz ECC.
■ Use Compaq SDRAM DIMMs only.
The recommended order of SDRAM DIMM installation is:
■ First SDRAM DIMM in socket 4
■ Second SDRAM DIMM in socket 3
■ Third SDRAM DIMM in socket 2
■ Fourth SDRAM DIMM in socket 1
Any combination of SDRAM DIMMs can be used.
