To remove the 
keyboard, complete 
the following steps:
1. 
Prepare the 
computer for 
disassembly.
2. Remove the 
palmrest cover with 
touch pad.
3. Gently lift up the 
front of the keyboard 
and disconnect the 
flex cable from the 
ZIF connector on the 
system board.
NOTE:
To remove a 
cable from a 
ZIF connector, 
lift both 
corners of the 
ZIF connector 
and slide 
simultaneously 
with constant 
light force. 
Then remove 
the cable.

more 
information on 
removing a 
cable from the 
ZIF connector.
