Windows NT Server 4.0 Terminal Server Edition
Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition is a version of Windows NT 4.0 which includes the Citrix MultiWin

required, via a thin-client. Microsofts Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) is used to transfer keystrokes and screen
changes efficiently between a Windows CE Windows Terminal, Windows NT Workstation or Windows 9x desktop.
Citrix Systems supply an enhancement to this system MetaFrame which allows many other types of terminals to
connect to a Windows Terminal Server and provides additional management/usability features.
This edition is offered pre-installed on selected teamservers. In addition to the standard client access licence, each client
requires either a Terminal Server Client Access Licence or a Windows NT 4.0 Workstation licence.
