Rack-mounted servers from Fujitsu are the way to save space, reduce the cost of ownership, centralise the administration
and achieve a secure installation.
The internal width of the rack enclosure is 19", the standard for rack-mounted equipment, and the internal height is 42U
(1U = 1¾" = 44.5mm). The external rack dimensions are 2155mm high, 600mm wide and 900mm deep.
Fujitsu offers a complete range of rack-mount options to suit all customer needs. This includes:
Rack-mounting kit for fitting
C800i tower servers into a rack.
Rack-mount
G800i systems.
Rack-mount
L800i systems.
Rack-mount
T800i systems.
Monitor, keyboard and mouse options for the above.
Disk Node which can house up to eight hard disk drives and can
be configured for all rack-mounted

series systems.
Console switches which allow a monitor, keyboard and mouse to
be switched between up to 4 servers. Two switches can be
cascaded to allow the console to be switched between up to 7
servers.
A full range of back-up devices, suitable for the large systems
which can be assembled and managed using Fujitsu’s rack.
Rack-mounted UPS. If a UPS is installed, it may be shared
between all systems in the rack.
