9. If replacing DIMMs (see Figure 3–5):
a. Press down on the DIMM retaining clip at both ends of the DIMM being
removed.
b. Gently remove the DIMM from the DIMM slot .
c. Insert the new DIMM straight into the slot, ensuring that the notches in the
DIMM align with the tabs in the slot.
d. Repeat step a through step c for each DIMM.
10. In a dual-redundant controller configuration, repeat step 5 through step 9, as
appropriate, for the other cache module.
