5.3 Preparing the Computer for
Disassembly
Perform the following steps before disassembling the computer.
Consult the computer Hardware Guide for instructions on the
following steps:
1. Shut down the computer.
2. Undock the computer from the MEU, if applicable.
3. Disconnect the AC adapter and external devices.
4. Remove any battery packs inserted into or attached to the
computer.
