Using the Video-Out Adapter
To transmit video signals through the video-out jack, you need
■ The video-out adapter included with the computer
and
■ A standard S-video cable or a standard composite video cable
available from most television, VCR, or electronics retailers.
To connect a video device to the video-out jack:
1. Plug the video-out adapter into the video-out jack on the
computer.
2. Connect the adapter to the S-video or the composite cable.
■ If you are connecting an S-video cable, connect the
adapter S-video connector to either connector on the
S-video cable .
■ If you are connecting a composite video cable, connect
the adapter composite video connector to either end of
the composite cable .
3. Connect the S-video cable or the composite video cable to the
video device as instructed in the device documentation.
