Installing a Drive in the Spare Removable Media
Bay
To install a tape drive in the spare bay, complete the following procedure.
1. Install the drive into the drive holder and secure it with four screws (two
on each side).
2. Install the drive holder into the system and secure it with four screws
(two on the top and two on the bottom).
3. Plug in one end of the SCSI cable to SCSI B on the system board (the
cable must be 3 meters).
4. Plug in the other end of the SCSI cable to the SCSI connection on the
rear of the drive.
Figure 7-15 shows how to install a drive in the removable media bay.
