Connecting a Single 6-Slot Subsystem
Figure 7-11 displays the connections for a single 6-slot storage subsystem.
Perform the following procedure to connect the storage subsystem:
1. Connect the power source cable ❶ to J13 on the subsystem and the
other end to the power source.
2. Connect an end of the SCSI cable to one of the SCSI connectors on the
SCSI controller

3. Connect the other end of the SCSI cable ❸ to J10 (SCSI IN) on the
storage backplane.
4. Terminate the connection at J7 ❹.
