JRE
Java Runtime Environment. The JRE consists of the Java virtual machine, the Java platform core
classes, and supporting files. It is the runtime part of the Java Development Kit—without compiler,
debugger, or tools. The JRE is the smallest set of executables and files that constitute the standard
Java platform. WEBES requires the JRE.

PCSI
POLYCENTER Software Installation. PCSI is a software installation and management tool for
OpenVMS systems. PCSI can package, install, remove, and manage software products.

Q
QSAP
Qualified Service Access Point. For CRSS, the QSAP acts as a gateway for managed servers to
connect with the outside world. At such multi-server sites, events from the managed servers can be
accumulated to a single QSAP platform on the customer premises for transmission to the service
provider over RAS.
