3.2 Installing WEBES

1. If installing in a TruCluster environment, make sure all nodes are up and running before
proceeding.
2. Load the WEBES kit, as follows:
# setld -l kit WEBESBASE310
This assumes your current directory is the one from which you extracted the kit using the
tar command in the Pre-Installation steps.
The following messages appear:
Checking file system space required to install specified subsets:

During this installation, the prompts to some questions are mapped as
follows:

3. Depending on whether DSNlink is installed, you may be prompted to type Y or N for
whether to modify inetd.conf:
DSNLink has been detected on this host and this host is capable
of running the DsnTunnelServer.sh program. It is recommended that
you allow the /etc/inetd.conf file to be modified allowing
the DsnTunnelServer.sh program to be recognized by the inetd daemon.
Allow the /etc/inetd.conf to be modified for the DsnTunnelServer.sh
script?[yes/no][q,?](default=yes):
You may use this script again after installing product(s) from this WEBES

To do so, simply perform
# cd <WEBES Suite kit location>
# setld -l <location> WEBESBASE<
