6. For Compaq Analyze: You also are prompted about keeping your installation settings
and your customer profile text file. Answering yes to these two prompts keeps you from
having to re-enter the information during a subsequent installation.
2.4.2 Uninstalling All WEBES Tools
To uninstall all WEBES tools, perform the following tasks. Note that you can use this
procedure to remove previous installations of this version of WEBES.
Caution
Do not use this option to uninstall individual WEBES tools, even if it separately
prompts you about the removal of each tool. When the prompts appear, always
answer Yes.
To uninstall individual tools, see Section 2.4.1, Uninstalling Individual WEBES
Tools.
1. Disable any anti-virus software. (You can re-enable it after uninstalling.) Anti-virus
software can seriously impact the amount of time required for uninstallation.
2. Select Start | Programs | Compaq Service Tools | Web Based Enterprise Service | Stop
Director.
3. Select Start | Programs | Compaq Service Tools | Web Based Enterprise
Service | Uninstall all WEBES programs.
4. The kit begins removing the WEBES components from your system. A prompt informs
you as you are about to remove each installed tool.
5. Click Yes to remove each tool. A prompt tells you when the unistallation of each tool
completes.
6. For Compaq Analyze: You also are prompted about keeping your installation settings
and your customer profile text file. Answering yes to these two prompts keeps you from
having to re-enter the information during a subsequent installation.
