Make sure all cables are correctly installed.
IDE/SCSI hard disk drive is not
correctly formatted or
partitioned.
Format and partition as required using the
supplied operating system.
IDE drive type incorrect. Run the BIOS Setup utility to identify the
correct drive type.
Onboard IDE interface
disabled.
Run the BIOS Setup utility and set the
Local Bus IDE Adapter to “Both.”
IDE/SCSI hard disk drive has
failed.
Replace the IDE/SCSI hard disk drive.
IDE/SCSI controller has failed. Replace the backplane.
IDE/SCSI ribbon cable has
failed.
