Removing a 5¼-Inch Device (Short Tower Computer)
1. Turn off the computer, monitor, and then disconnect power from the
computer.
2. Remove the outside cover.
3. Remove the front bezel.
4. Disconnect all power and data cables.
5. If necessary, remove the EMI shield.
6. Remove the two screws holding the drive to the bay.
7. Remove the 5¼-inch device, which includes the rail.
8. Remove the rail from the device.
