Quick Setup
This section provides simplified installation instructions to enable experienced system integrators
and administrators to quickly establish a Secure Path environment. For a more comprehensive
installation method, please reference the roadmap provided in Chapter 2 of this guide.
About Quick Setup
NOTE
• You must have completed installation of a SCSI RAID
Array 7000 or a Fibre Channel RAID Array 8000 in a
Windows NT single server or cluster environment with
a single I/O path, and it must be functioning properly.
You must have established a serial line connection to
the RAID Array.
• Do not proceed until the single path installation is
functioning properly.
• Do not install Secure Path for Windows in an Alpha
server which has FX!32 installed.
Use the Quick Setup Guide that corresponds to your RAID subsystem type and desired
configuration.
