Make sure the remote servers are reachable (using

) and that they are valid
name servers.
If your name server resides on the local system, use the SHOW NAME_SERVICE
command to make sure your resolver points to
localhost
.
Next, verify that the TCPIP$BIND process is enabled and running. First, enter
the following command to determine whether TCPIP$BIND is enabled:
