Part 1

Connecting to the Network

Part 1 provides the information on how to get started after installing and

conﬁguring the TCP/IP Services software.

Part 1 includes the following chapters:

• Chapter 1, Managing TCP/IP Services, describes the management control

interfaces that allow you to conﬁgure and manage TCP/IP Services.

• Chapter 2, Conﬁguring Interfaces, describes how to set up network interfaces.

• Chapter 3, Conﬁguring Serial Lines, explains how to set up serial lines.

• Chapter 4, Conﬁguring Routing, discusses how to conﬁgure and manage

network routing.
