Paper Weight Equivalence Table (Approximate)
Use this table to determine equivalent points in weight specifications
other than US bond weight. For example, to determine the equivalent of
20 lb. US bond weight paper in US cover weight, locate the bond weight
(in row 3, second column) and scan across the row to the cover weight
(in the fourth column). The equivalent is 28 lbs.
•• When using the Paper Output Bin, the printer supports basis
weights of 16 to 28 lb. bond (60 to 105 Europe Metric weight in g/m).
•• When using the Front Output Slot, the printer supports a basis
weight of 16 to 43 lb. bond (60 to 163 Europe metric weight in g/m).
Shaded areas indicate a standard weight for that grade.

For best results, use the Front Output Slot when printing heavier paper
(boxed rows 9-14). See "Select the Paper Path" in Chapter 4.
