EPA Energy Star Computers Compliance
The HP LaserJet 5L printer is designed to conserve electricity by dropping from 100 W while
printing to 6 W when in the SleepMode. The instant-power-save/instant-on capability of this
printer makes a standby mode unnecessary. With this new power-saving design this printer
qualifies for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Star Computers compliance.
The EPA, as a matter of policy, does not endorse any particular company or its products.
