9. Press in and hold the PC Card eject button 1 (Figure 5-28).
10. Lift up the front edge of the system board 2 until it clears the
base enclosure.
11. Slide the front edge of the system board forward, away from
the base enclosure, at an angle 3.

Refer to the following sections to remove components from the
system board:
■ Memory expansion board (Section 5.4)
■ Fan assembly (Section 5.8)
■ Processor (Section 5.9)
■ Disk cell RTC battery (Section 5.13)
■ Mini PCI communications board (Section 5.14)
Reverse the above procedure to install the system board.
