2. Put on an antistatic wrist strap and connect it to a metal ground
point on your system.

To avoid static damage to your circuit board, take the proper
antistatic precautions before handling the board. Often a wrist strap
is provided with upgrade kits.
3. Remove the cover, TARGA 2000 board set, and AGP board
according to the manufacturer’s documentation, if not already
done.

Save the AGP board for troubleshooting purposes. You can reconfigure the
system to its original configuration.
4. Install the edit display controller board included in your kit (see
Tab le 2 or Ta bl e 3).
5. Secure the edit display controller board to the system.

Use any expansion slot blank panels you remove to cover any open slots not
used.

Set” on page 20.
Installing the Meridien Digital Media Board Set
The Meridien digital media board set is a PCI board and a daughter
board that provides an interface to the Meridien I/O box. Use Ta bl e 2
or Ta bl e 3 to identify the PCI slot where the Meridien digital media
board set needs to be installed.
Before installing the Meridien digital media board set in the system,
make sure the daughter board’s connector and standoffs are securely
fastened to the board (see Figure 4) using a connector and standoffs.
