1. Connect appropriate cable (as defined by the instructions that come with
the network hub, not a part of the SMC kits) to network adapter 2 on the
SMC (see Figure 5–9).
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a port in the network hub (see Figure
5–10). Note that Figure 5–10 shows an 8-port hub. Hubs with more ports
are available. Also, some network hubs can be daisy-chained to provide
more ports, as described in the instruction booklets that come with the hub.
