CAUTION: Always fully loosen the terminator module retention screw to avoid
possible damage to the processor.
10. Remove the terminator module from the selected socket:
a. Fully loosen the terminator module retention screw .
b. Open the ejector levers .
c. Pull the terminator module out of its socket and keep for future
use.

CAUTION: If you remove a processor, reinstall the processor terminator module
before powering up the server. Failure to have either a processor or processor
terminator module installed results in an interlock fault condition that prevents
the server from powering up.
11. Locate the core frequency switch for the processor socket and set the
processor core frequency switch to the appropriate setting. See
Appendix C, “Switch Settings.”
12.
Install the PPM:
a. Align the new PPM with the PPM socket.
b. Install and secure the processor power module by pushing it into the
socket
.
c. Rotate the ejector levers inward until the board fully seats into the
socket.
