Memory Board Features
■ ECC memory with single-bit error correction and detection down to a
single dual inline memory module (DIMM), and multibit error detection
down to the memory bank

G Supports up to four memory banks, with each consisting of four
DIMMs. One bank is installed or removed at a time. Each DIMM of
a given bank must be of the same size, type, and speed. However, to
maintain 50-ns timing support, all four banks must contain only 50-
ns DIMMs. If mixed with slower (for example, 60-ns) DIMMs, the
memory speed is reduced to the slowest DIMMs.
