MSA1000 Fibre Channel Storage System
This technical update to the TruCluster Server Cluster Hardware
Configuration manual provides important information about support for the
StorageWorks Modular Smart Array 1000 (MSA1000) Fibre Channel storage
system designed for the entry-level to midrange storage area network (SAN).
It has been qualified with the Tru64 UNIX and TruCluster Server Version
5.1A and 5.1B products in a TruCluster Server configuration.

The name for the MSA1000 has been chanaged from Modular
SAN Array to Modular Smart Array. The MSA1000 maintenance
and service guides still use the old name.
1.1 General Overview
The MSA1000 is qualified for use with the TruCluster Server Version 5.1A
and 5.1B products.
There is no TruCluster Server software release that coincides with the
availability of support for the MSA1000, so this technical update provides
the configuration information that would appear in the TruCluster Server
Cluster Hardware Configuration manual.
