About This Technical Update
This technical update provides important information about using the
StorageWorks Modular Smart Array 1000 (MSA1000) Fibre Channel storage
system in a TruCluster Server configuration.
Audience
If you plan to use an MSA1000 Fibre Channel storage system in a
TruCluster configuration, read this addendum to the TruCluster Server
Cluster Hardware Configuration manual.
Organization
This manual is organized as follows:
Chapter 1 Introduces the MSA1000 Fibre Channel storage system.
Chapter 2 Provides the requirements and restrictions to use an MSA1000
in a TruCluster Server configuration.
Chapter 3
Provides example supported, not supported, and illegal
TruCluster Server configurations using an MSA1000 for storage.
Chapter 4 Describes how to prepare systems and storage for a TruCluster
Server installation on MSA1000 storage system disks.
Appendix A Provides blank tables to be used to log your Fibre
Channel configuration.
