TruCluster Server Configurations Using
an MSA1000 for Storage
This chapter provides illustrations of TruCluster Server configurations using
an MSA1000 Fibre Channel storage array.
3.1 A Single Controller MSA1000 Cluster Configuration
A TruCluster Server configuration with a single-controller MSA1000 is
shown in Figure 3-1. In this single controller configuration, the single Fibre
Channel host bus adapter, Fibre Channel switch, MSA1000 controller, and
Fibre Channel I/O module are each single points of failure.
