BATTERY INFORMATION
Your phone comes with a partially charged, rechargeable Lithium Ion (LiIon) Battery so that
you can use the phone immediately after it is activated.
Installing the Battery.
To attach the battery to your phone :
1. Hold the battery so that metal contacts on the base of the battery line up with the metal
contacts on the base of the phone.
2. Place the battery on the back of the phone with the top of the battery about a quarter of an
inch from the latch.
3. Gently slide the battery toward the top of the phone until it snaps into place.
Charging the Battery.
You can tell whether or not your battery needs to be recharged by checking the lower-right
corner of your phone’s display.
When the battery charge level gets low, the battery sensor will let you know by blinking the
battery icon and sounding a warning tone. If the battery level gets too low, the phone will turn
off automatically. Unfortunately, if this happens you’ll lose whatever you were just doing,
including dropping your call. Watch the battery strength icon and make sure your battery is
adequately charged.
Charging with the Single-Slot Desktop Charger.
Use only Vacom approved chargers and adapters with your phone. Use of any unauthorized
accessories may be dangerous and will invalidate the phone warranty if said accessories cause
damage or a defect to the phone.
To charge the battery using the Single-Slot Desktop Charger :
- Plug the power cord of the charger into a wall outlet.
- Insert the entire phone with battery attached or a single battery into the cradle of the
charger.
