FCCRFexposurecompliance
TheradiatedoutputpowerofyourtabletisbelowtheFCCradiofrequencyexposurelimits.Nevertheless,
itshouldbeusedinsuchamannerthatthepotentialforhumancontactisminimizedduringnormal
operationofyourtablet.
CAUTION:
TheradiatedenergyfromtheantennasconformstotheFCClimitoftheSAR(SpecificAbsorption
Rate)requirementregarding47CFRPart2Section1093,whenthetabletoperatesintheconventional
setting.TheSARisdeterminedtomeasureatthehighestpowerlevelineachfrequencyband.
However,theactualSARlevelofThindPad10intheoperationbandsiswellbelowthemaximum
valueinsomemeasurementplots.BecauseThindPad10adjuststhecellulartransmissionpower
automaticallybasedupontheproximitytothehumanbodyandorientation.Namely,thecloser
distancetoyoufromThindPad10willlowerthecellulartransmissionpowerlevel.ThindPad10has
beentestedandfoundtomeettheFCCRFexposureguidelines.

EmergencyCalls
ThewirelessWANcarddoesnotsupportvoicecalls,hencetheiruseforessentialcommunicationisnot
possible,includingemergencycallsregardingtheE911rule.
SimultaneoususeofRFtransmitters
YourtabletisapprovedforsimultaneoususeoftheintegratedwirelessLAN/Bluetoothcombocardand
wirelessWANcard.
Makesureofthefollowingconditionswhenyouuseanyotherexternalwirelessoptiondevice:
•WhenyouuseanyotherRFoptiondevice,youarerequestedtoconfirmthatthedeviceconformstothe
RFSafetyrequirementandisapprovedtouseforyourtablet.
•YoumustfollowtheRFSafetyinstructionsofwirelessoptiondevicesthatareincludedintheusermanual
oftheRFoptiondevice.
•Ifwirelessoptionsareprohibitedtouseinconjunctionwithanothertransmitters,youmustturnoffall
otherwirelessfeaturesinyourtablet.

•Eachdeviceisrestrictedtoindooruseduetoitsoperationinthe5150to5250MHzfrequencyrange.
FCCrequirestheseproductstobeusedindoorsforthefrequencyrange5150to5250MHztoreducethe
potentialforharmfulinterferencetoco-channelMobileSatellitesystems.
•Highpowerradarsareallocatedasprimaryusersofthe5250to5350MHzand5650to5850MHzbands.
Theseradarstationscancauseinterferencewithand/ordamagethisdevice.
