performwelloryouinstallanewdevice,youneedtoinstallorupdatethecorrespondingdevicedriver.
Todownloadthelatestdevicedrivers,dothefollowing:
1.Gotohttp://www.lenovo.com/ThinkPadDrivers.
2.Selectyourproductnametoviewallthedevicedriversforyourcomputer.
3.Selectthedevicedriversthatyouneed,andfollowtheinstructionsonthescreen.
Attention:DonotdownloadthedevicedriversfromtheWindowsUpdateWeb.Alwaysdownloadthedevice
driversfrom:

UsingtheThinkPadSetupprogram
TheThinkPadSetupprogramenablesyoutoselectvarioussetupcongurationsforyourcomputerthrough
conguringtheBIOS.
ToconguretheBIOSofyourcomputer,dothefollowing:
1.Restartthecomputer.WhentheThinkPadlogoisdisplayed,pressF1.TheThinkPadSetupprogram
starts.
Note:Ifyouarerequiredtoenterthesupervisorpassword,enterthecorrectpassword.Youalsocan
pressEntertoskipthepasswordpromptandstarttheThinkPadSetupprogram.Ifyoudonotenterthe
password,youcannotchangethecongurationsthatareprotectedbythesupervisorpassword.For

.
2.Usethecursorkeystoselectatab;orusethecursorkeystolocateanitemandpressEntertoselectit.

3.Setthevalueofanitembydoingoneofthefollowing:
•PresstheF6keytochangetoahighervalue.
•PresstheF5keytochangetoalowervalue.
Note:Defaultvaluesareinboldface.
4.Tochangeothercongurations,presstheEsckeytoexitthesubmenuandreturntotheparentmenu.
5.Whenyoucompletetheconguration,presstheF10keytosaveandexit.Youalsocanselectthe
RestarttabintheThinkPadSetupmenu,andrestartyourcomputerwithoneoftheprovidedoptions.
