Solution:Ifthesystemdoesnotreturnfromsleepmode,itmighthaveenteredsleeporhibernation
modeautomaticallybecausethebatteryisdepleted.Checkthesystemstatusindicator(illuminated
ThinkPadlogo).
Ifthesystemstatusindicator(illuminatedThinkPadlogo)blinksslowly,yourcomputerisinsleepmode.
Connecttheacpoweradaptertothecomputer;thenpressFn.
Ifthesystemstatusindicator(illuminatedThinkPadlogo)isoff,yourcomputerisinpower-offstateor
inhibernationmode.Connecttheacpoweradaptertothecomputer;thenpressthepowerbutton
toresumeoperation.
Ifthesystemstilldoesnotreturnfromsleepmode,yoursystemmightstoprespondingandyoumight
notbeabletoturnoffthecomputer.Inthiscase,youneedtoresetthecomputer.Ifyouhavenot
savedyourdata,itmightbelost.Toresetthecomputer,pressandholdthepowerbuttonfor4seconds
ormore.Ifthesystemisstillnotreset,removetheacpoweradapterandresetthesystembyinserting
